Recent style & filming location spoilers for Red Velvet's comeback are giving fans chills

Red Velvet are moving in for a kill!

Recently, spoilers for the girl group's long-awaited comeback album have surfaced on online communities.

While the ladies did reveal an intricate art poster on October 18 KST, hinting at the mood of their 3rd full album 'What a Chill Kill', the direction of the album's concept still remained a mystery.

But a spoiler of what seems to be a signature hair accessory made for each of the Red Velvet members, shared by a traditional Korean accessory maker, is pointing fans in a more specific direction.

There are five identical, red hair accessories, all in the style of traditional Korean hair ribbons (or daenggi), strongly exuding Red Velvet's signature vibe.

Yet another spoiler found on SNS indicated that some form of filming for Red Velvet's comeback took place at the historic Gyeongbokgung Palace at nighttime.

Fellow SM Entertainment artists NCT 127 also featured Gyeongbokgung Palace in their latest comeback MV, "Fact Check", further contributing to speculations that Red Velvet paid a visit to the architectural monument.

Netizens reacted to the exciting teasers with comments like,

"I'm having chills."
"Those ribbons are literally screaming 'RED VELVET'."
"It's going to be a masterpiece, I can already feel it."
"What if it's a scary temple maiden concept??"
