Seventeen's Jeonghan to sit out 'Follow' tours in Fukuoka, Bangkok, Bulacan, and more after ankle surgery

On December 14 KST, Pledis Entertainment notified fans of the news via Weverse, stating, "Jeonghan previously suffered an injury to his left ankle and has been receiving several conservative treatments. The artist was highly determined to participate in all activities this year, so he continued his activities while getting regular checkups."

The label continued, "While performing on the recent tour, Jeonghan's ankle pain worsened. He was diagnosed by the medical staff as needing surgery. Accordingly, he was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday the 13th and underwent ankle surgery on the morning of Thursday the 14th. The surgery was successful, and Jeonghan is now recuperating."

To prioritize Jeonghan's full recovery and rehabilitation, Pledis Entertainment announced that the Seventeen member will not be participating in the group's upcoming 'Follow' tour stops in Fukuoka, Japan; Bangkok, Thailand; Bulacan, the Philippines; Macao; and other dates to come.

Meanwhile, Seventeen will be starring in a new variety program by Na Young Suk PD, tvN's 'Let's Go - NaNa Tour with Seventeen', premiering on January 5.
